Download Mortal Kombat Legacy on July 18th

According to ComingSoon.net Warner Premiere will be releasing Mortal Kombat Legacy for download on iTunes, Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on July 18th, 2011. While Mortal Kombat Legacy is currently available for watching for free, it is likely there will be a reasonable cost to own the series. We also hope that this means that a DVD and Blu-ray version of the series along with behind the scenes features are also on their way someday as well.
"Mortal Kombat: Legacy: This original live-action new media series from Warner Premiere and Warner Bros. Digital Distribution is directed by Kevin Tancharoen (Fame); stars Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager) as Sonya Blade, Michael Jai White (The Dark Knight) as Major Jackson “Jax” Briggs and Darren Shahlavi (300) as Kano; is based on the video game Mortal Kombat, created by Ed Boon; and takes gamers deep into the history of the warriors they know and love. Legacy will be available for download via iTunes, Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network starting July 18."
Also in the article, it is mentioned that Warner Bros will be giving Comic Con attendees special hotel key cards for their various properties as part of a larger hotel "key party". If we're interpreting the article correctly there will be a special Mortal Kombat Legacy keycard. Mortal Kombat collectors attending may want to get one of these cards, as they'll likely to become a rare collectors item in the future.
I don't know about any of you but........ 8 minute episodes that have no intertwining storyline or depth?  Ya right, maybe I'll take it off your hands for free but pay for the series?  Don't get me wrong I liked it, it was new and innovative but as I said.  It lacks depth and completion.  The budget wasn't there so they released a half-ass incomplete show that they want to charge for?

Well.  I guess "Howard the Duck" and "Buckaroo Banzai" made money.  Why cant they......
