Immortals - Coming Soon - HD Trailer

This year appears to be a crazy year for movie releases.  Today Thor has been released and it appears to have impressed me with its Home Theater Potential.  Really, the blast off factor that this one is going to provide is what I look for when I want to put my home theater to The Test.  Check out the THOR HD Trailers here or take a look through the menu under Movies N Games.

With that being said here's another release that should provide the same Home Theater effect.  It's scheduled for November 11, 2011.

The Immortals

The Immortals is Directed by Tarsem Singh and the Producers of 300. Below is an HD Trailer that really is an awesome pitch for this movie.  I'll be waiting on it!

Some of the stars include:

Stephen Dorff

Henry Cavill

Isabel Lucas

Freida Pinto

John Hurt

Luke Evans
Kellan Lutz

Can't forget about that class act, Mickey Rourke

The IMDB Storyline shows:

Eons after the Gods won their mythic struggle against the Titans, a new evil threatens the land. Mad with power, King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) has declared war against humanity. Amassing a bloodthirsty army of soldiers disfigured by his own hand, Hyperion has scorched Greece in search of the legendary Epirus Bow, a weapon of unimaginable power forged in the heavens by Ares. Only he who possesses this bow can unleash the Titans, who have been imprisoned deep within the walls of Mount Tartaros since the dawn of time and thirst for revenge. In the king's hands, the bow would rain destruction upon mankind and annihilate the Gods. But ancient law dictates the Gods must not intervene in man's conflict. They remain powerless to stop Hyperion...until a peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill) comes forth as their only hope. Secretly chosen by Zeus, Theseus must save his people from Hyperion and his hordes.

The look is reminiscent of 300 for sure.  While I wasn't really a fan of 300, with the $115,000,000 budget that was estimated on this one, I think this one will beat out "300" no problem.

Again Release Date in theaters both 2D and 3D is 11.11.11
