Warner's put out a new trailer for the NetherRealm Studios developed Mortal Kombat reboot, giving you an inside look at the game's 300 level Challenge Tower mode.

"The Challenge Tower is 300 missions where we really wanted to challenge the player's mastery of different mechanics in the game, while also challenging their dedication to sticking with it," explains senior designer Mike Birkhead.

 

While there's all sorts in there, including a shooting gallery and old favourites like Test Your Might and Test Your Sight, Birkhead says Netherrealm "wanted to make sure that we stayed true to the core of why people love this game, which is, I beat the s*** out of you and then I rip your head off".

This looks like a cool addition to the game that will give it staying power.  Another point to make me buy this one.  This game could have been just another Mortal Kombat but clearly the developers thought about it and that isn't going to be the case.
